This procedure must be done on one of the University computers.
You cannot change your University network password from any off-campus computer. If you're off campus and your network password has expired, you'll need to call Computer Services at 479 979-1467 or send an email with your logon id and a new password. They'll reset your password to one you've chosen so you'll be able to get back into the system.
Please do not use the Computer Help Request on the website to make your request...Computer Services cannot verify the identity of the person making these requests.
Press and hold down the Ctrl, Alt,
and Delete keys on your
keyboard.
You will get a pop-up window with the options: Lock Computer; Log Off; Shut Down; Change Password; Task Manager; and Cancel. Select the "Change Password" button.
Ensure the value in the "User Name" box is your University network logon id, and that the value listed in the "Domain" box is LABDOM.
Enter your current password in the box labeled "Old password."
Type in your new password, then re-type the new password to confirm your entry.
If you entered the new password identically both times, your password should now be changed. You will receive a confirmation message if the password has been changed.
Remember, it is very important that you protect your password. Don't let anyone else use your logon id because ultimately you are responsible for any use of your university-issued logon id. Read the CS Note "Protecting Your Password."
