The completed worksheet will give you a basic plan for getting all your work done. For Monday, Sept. 25, write a one-page evaluation of how the plan worked for you; if it did not work well, analyze why and detail the changes you must make in your time management plan in order to make it work.

If you have a project that seems too big to handle or is complicated, break it down into smaller tasks. List all these smaller tasks and estimated the time it will take to complete them. Then concentrate on one task at a time until the entire project is completed.

Write a three-page essay on the ideology of ancient Egyptian art. The essay should describe the basic artistic principles involved and illustrate through analysis of specific art works how the art reflects ancient Egyptian values and beliefs.

Guidelines:

Choose three art works to analyze.
Summarize the Egyptian approach to art by describing the usual techniques and preferred subjects, referring specifically to each of the art works you’ve chosen to exemplify your points.
Discuss how this art—both in general approach and in the execution of specific works—reflects ancient Egyptian concerns and ideals.
Be sure to include the images with your paper, either in the body of the paper or as an addendum. (Note: The text of the essay should be about three pages—if you use a lot of space in the body of the essay for images, the essay will need to be longer than three pages).
Cite your sources for images as well as information and quotations.

After making an estimate of how much time the project will take, mark off time in your weekly schedule for each of the tasks you have identified.
